Thank you for participating in the NetHope Global Summit 2018 taking place at the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) in the vibrant Dublin neighborhood of Ballsbridge.

This year we expect well over 300 attendees representing 56 international NGOs at our Global Summit. The attendees are the technology influencers (C-level information executives to field level IT managers) across the NGO and private sectors. The information communication technology (ICT) interests are very diverse, and include connectivity and infrastructure; mobile technology, cloud applications, emergency response, information security, payment innovations, health technology, and more. 

Sponsors are provided with exhibitor space to showcase products and services, and to distribute materials. The Global Summit agenda allocates time for attendees to visit the Technology Solutions Showcase starting Monday, November 5 at 12:00 through Wednesday, November 7 in the afternoon. We will also offer lunch and meeting breaks in Hall 3 so we expect a high amount of foot traffic. 

The Global Summit informally kicks off on Monday for everyone followed by the Introduction Session in the afternoon, and formally begins on Tuesday morning at 09:00.  

The Technology Solutions Showcase will be held in Hall 3 of the RDS. We will provide a map of the RDS as part of the online agenda. 

Exhibitor Space 

Exhibitor spaces measures roughly 9 feet (2.7 meters) and includes one table, 6 feet by 24 inches (1.8 meters by .60 meters) with two chairs. Exhibitor tables are dressed in black linens that extend to the floor. Please feel free to bring your own custom linen to use over this cover. 

  • Exhibitors are asked to use roll ups or banner bugs behind or adjacent to your table and or tabletop signage. 
  • Exhibitors are welcome to bring marketing and product collateral to distribute as well as laptops for demonstrations. 
  • The RDS contracts with ION Solutions for its AV support. If you need to rent a monitor or laptop, please directly contact ION’s Production Manager, Kevin Doyle at kevind@rds.ie or kevin.doyle@ionsolutions.ie or by phone at +353 870522395 
  • Basic power will be available to exhibitor tables upon request. 
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the exhibitor space and meeting rooms. 
  • Exhibitors should remove all valuables such as laptops at the end of the day to ensure safe storage. 
  • NetHope will gladly store exhibitor cases for the duration of the Technology Showcase. 

 

Freight Forwarding/Shipping and On-Site Handling 

Interflow Logistics are the appointed international freight forwarder and on-site handler for the NetHope Global Summit 2018.  

Their services include:

  • Fork Lifting and onsite handling 
  • Collection, storage and return of empty cases  
  • Customs brokerage (ATA Carnet and Temp Import Procedures) 
  • Coordination of local exhibitor’s freight needs

Exhibitor Load In/Set Up 

Sponsors can begin setting up on Sunday, November 4 between 12:00 and 15:00 or on Monday, November 5 at 08:00. All exhibit tables will be labeled with your company name and table number. Light hand freight - such as rolling cases - can be brought through the RDS entrance to Hall 3. Should you need access to the loading dock, please notify Elizabeth Bamber for assistance. 

 

Parking 

The RDS has a limited amount of complimentary onsite parking available. Please contact  Elizabeth Bamber  if you require a parking pass as they are available on a first come, first serve basis. 

 

Global Summit Check in 

Sponsors can pick up their name tags at the Pre-Summit Check-In table located on the lower lobby of the Clayton Ballsbridge Hotel/www.claytonballsbridge.com on Sunday, November 4, from 16:00 to 18:00. The Global Summit Check-In table will reopen on Monday at 07:30 in the RDS foyer between Hall 3 & 6. After you've picked up your name tags join us for the Sunday Social, also taking place from 16:00 to 18:00. 

 

Welcome Reception

Please join us for a welcome reception, beginning at 5:00 PM on Monday, November 5, and hosted as part of the Technology Solutions Showcase. We invite exhibitors to have some fun and engage delegates with a drawing or contest at their booth. Exhibitors are also invited to the NetHope Community Celebration, a festive dinner and networking event, being held on Wednesday, November 7 at the Guinness Storehouse. Further details will be available in early fall.

 

Community Celebration

Save the night of Wednesday, November 7 for a memorable evening complete with dinner, networking, and a few surprises in the mix. The Community Celebration will place this year at the historic Guinness Storehouse. The Storehouse offers a unique multi-media experience into the history of Guinness starting with its inception to its rise as worldwide brand. Along the way, Guinness has maintained a philanthropic commitment to it’s people and the communities it operates in.
